I do have everything organized in my planner, but that's still a big picture kind of view which isn't helping. So, maybe take a list of like...five things at a time or something like that? I could try that.
Deadlines and I are...not very good friends. I'm freaking out right now because my profs don't have their letters of rec into the law school admissions council yet, but the first deadline for the schools I'm applying to is the middle of February. The profs assure me they'll be done this week! So...that should be plenty of time! But I just freak out anyway. I'm always early everywhere I go because I freak out about being late.
I just...basically waste a lot of time freaking out. My brain just goes LETS WORRYING and I end up going 'okay'.
Hm. When I freak out I admit I kind of fail at doing stuff too. I spent entire days watching tv and then going "... time... what?"
But it's worrisome when things like that aren't under your control. I totally get that \o/. Is there something you can do just for yourself then? As a kind of reward.
heee just hearing someone say 'that's okay to worry' helps a lot. My therapist tells me not to and it doesn't help and then I get frustrated when I do it and it's just a cycle of hate and worry and blaaaah.
Tonight after work I won't touch any homework and just spend a couple hours watching some anime. Noooo obligations, just mindless cartoons yay.
It's hard for someone who doesn't experience that kind of worry, I think, to understand it. I . . . have a lot of weird worries. Like what door to use when going to class, you know? And it really freaks me out, and then spirals, so I can kind of understand the feeling.
\o/! Awesome! I sometimes organize things too, like my itunes or icons folder, just so I can feel accomplished about something :3
